Job summary

TRA Medical Imaging in Puyallup, WA is seeking a Resident Mammography Technologist to join our Mammo Technologist team. The Resident Mammo Tech performs mammographic exams under supervision, adhering to ARRT/ACR standards and ethics, while ensuring patient comfort and accurate imaging.

Upon completion of the residency and transfer to a Mammo Technologist, you may receive an hourlypay increase and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid ARRT-(R).
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per TRA mission.
• Rotate shifts as needed.
• Prepare patients for mammography with explanations.
• Record patient information accurately.
• Operate mammography orders with minimal exposure.
• Maintain documentation for Mammo Tech certification.
• Present radiographs and history to radiologist.
• Use Epic/PACS for exams.
• Keep areas neat and stocked.
• Participate in orientation and meetings.
