**Overview**
As our Mammo Tech at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, you will perform specialized tasks related to x-ray imaging to assist radiologists in detecting abnormalities. Responsibilities include managing daily operations of the Mammography section, patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, reporting equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA). You are expected to uphold high medical ethics and continuously enhance your knowledge of the field, diseases, and procedures. Schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide positive patient care experiences using innovative customer service techniques.
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions to promote a patient-centered environment.
• Perform tasks as outlined in the Radiologic Technologist job description.
• Conduct quality control functions related to mammography.
• Ensure compliance with ACR and Department of Health accreditation standards.
• Start IVs and administer contrast when applicable.
• Utilize electronic health records effectively.
• Assist the director with other duties as required.

Qualifications

Required Education

• Associate Degree or equivalent from an accredited radiology program.

Required Licensure and Certifications

• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy license.
• Board of Examiners (MRAD:ND).
• RT (ARRT) (R) and (M) within 18 months.

Preferred Experience

• 1-2 years mammography experience preferred.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic computer skills, PACS, and Meditech.
• New graduate imaging candidates are encouraged to apply.

$31.38 - $45.51/hour
