Job Summary
Provides driver services to the Mobile Clinic to include setup, minor maintenance and the coordination of maintenance and repair activities. Performs a variety of breast imaging procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and competency.

Essential Functions

- Drives a specially equipped mobile clinical unit to varied destinations, ensuring that wheelchair lifts and tie‑down equipment are properly operated.
- Provides setup at desired locations, performs simple maintenance, coordinates maintenance and repairs, and inspects and maintains the mobile clinical unit to remain clean, orderly and in safe working condition.
- Completes vehicle documentation as required, and communicates with the community, staff, and other agencies and departments.
- Provides clinical support as directed by the medical director for HealthWorks or Mammography.
- Obtains optimum quality breast images for radiologist interpretation.
- Documents pertinent patient medical history and clinical findings and labels breast images appropriately in accordance with the American College of Radiology guidelines, contributing to the diagnosis.
- Stays abreast of organizational, affiliate and departmental changes/updates by checking email on each shift.
- Adheres to policies and procedures pertaining to patient confidentiality and security of all information and records.
- Provides radiation protection in accordance with proper standards as set by State and Federal boards, using proper shielding, collimation, and technical factors that minimize radiation exposure without affecting quality of radiographs.
- Remains up to date on changes and new procedures by attending educational seminars or classes and reading job‑related material.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory / Management Responsibilities
- This is a non‑management position that reports to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Minimum Requirements
- Education – Job‑related coursework beyond high school; graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
- Experience – One (1) year operating vehicles requiring a CDL license; or one (1) year working as a mobile mammography technician. Prior experience in mammography preferred.

Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
- Certified in Mammography.
- SCRQSA certification (required for team members working in South Carolina).
- BLS certification.
- Valid and current CDL license must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Invalid or expired CDL is not permitted for operation of the mammography vehicle.
- Valid driver’s license; acceptable motor vehicle record; and proof of auto insurance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must be computer literate.
- Able to move, assemble, clean and use complex equipment and supplies to provide information and quality care through diagnostic analysis in a timely manner.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment and operate handicap‑accessible vehicles.
