Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography and support physicians in diagnosis at MacNeal Hospital & North Riverside Satellite location.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience, ARRT certification, CPR (AHA) and an accredited radiologic technology degree, with on-site day shifts and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of previous job-related experience.
• Associate's degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education.
• ARRT, CPR (AHA) and Registered Radiographic Technologist/certifications required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
• Carry out related clerical and service duties as needed.
• Maintain MQSA compliance and quality control with supervision.

About the Job

In this role, the Mammo Technologist will perform mammography in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and/or treatment of medical disorders; performs related clerical and serviced duties.

Here is what you'll need

Required

• Specific Degree(s): Mammography, Radiologic Technology
• 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
• Associate's degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education

Licensure/Certifications

Required

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Registered Radiographic Technologist
• Registered Radiographic Technologist (Mammography)

Preferred

• Other: All mammography technologists are required to maintain at least 15 category 1 CEU's direct mammography continuing education hours within a 36-month period.
• Must be able to perform 200 exams within a 24-month period. 40 hours of training in mammography.
• 25 mammography exams under direct supervision of MQSA-qualified individual.

Pa y Range: $34.00 – $57.00 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
