Qualifications

• Prior security experience with supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
• Knowledge of security operations, procedures, and safety practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security licenses/certifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (report writing required).
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize effectively.
• Comfortable using security systems and standard office equipment.
• Reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support Security Officers and Shift Leads.
• Manage performance, including coaching and corrective actions when needed.
• Assist with hiring, training, and ongoing development of staff.
• Ensure proper scheduling, coverage, and accurate timekeeping.
• Oversee daily security operations and ensure compliance with post orders and company policies.
• Conduct site patrols and inspections to maintain safety standards.
• Ensure reports, logs, and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms; coordinate with local authorities as needed.
• Monitor and support security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control, fire panels, elevators).
• Build strong relationships with mall management, tenants, and local police/fire departments.
