Job summary

GGP is seeking a Facilities Technician at Jordan Creek Town Center in West Des Moines, IA. The role supports the Operations Manager in safety plans, standards, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance to uphold the property’s assets.

You will perform building-system maintenance, minor repairs, and assist with events setup, custodial duties, and vendor coordination as needed. The position requires physical stamina, 2–3 years of maintenance experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years building maintenance or related field experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to read and interpret documents, plans and schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs; maintain cleanliness of property.
• Carry out interior/exterior maintenance including painting, drywall, plumbing, lighting, and roofing.
