Job summary

GGP in Louisville, KY is seeking a Facilities Technician to assist the Operations Manager with safety plans, operating standards, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of mall assets.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining building systems, minor repairs, painting, plumbing, lighting, and event setup; you will also support cleaning, snow removal, records keeping, and safety training, with some evenings or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of building maintenance experience preferred.
• OSHA 10-hour certification is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various building systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on interior/exterior areas.
• Paint, drywall, plumbing, lighting, flooring, and roof tasks as needed.
• Assist with events setup, decor installation, and teardown.
• Maintain inventory, records, safety data sheets, and tools.
• Support custodial duties and snow removal as needed.
• Follow safety, health, and environmental policies; participate in training.
