Job summary

Brookfield Properties is seeking a Facilities Technician to assist the Operations Manager with safety plans, operating standards, and preventive maintenance of mall assets. You will troubleshoot and repair building systems and support day-to-day operations at Quail Springs Mall.

The role requires 2–3 years in maintenance, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed. Competitive benefits and career development are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2–3 years in building maintenance or related field.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to read, interpret documents and drawings.
• Self-starter capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems.
• Operate equipment for preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Perform interior/exterior maintenance including painting, plumbing, lighting, and roof.
• Maintain inventory records, files, and safety data sheets.
• Assist with events setup and mall decor installations.
• Perform custodial duties and support snow removal when needed.
• Support safety policy and participate in training and emergency planning.
