Job summary

Cafaro is seeking motivated individuals to join the Grand Central Mall janitorial team. You will perform a variety of maintenance, housekeeping, and safety-focused duties to keep common areas, restrooms, and public spaces clean and well-maintained.

The role requires initiative, detail-orientation, and a team-first attitude. Responsibilities include interior/exterior landscaping, painting touch-ups, snow removal, repairs, lighting maintenance, and seasonal setup.

Qualifications

• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
• Cooperate with supervision and colleagues.
• Participate in safety training and report hazards.
• Communicate effectively with team to ensure tasks are done well.

Responsibilities

• Landscape interior and exterior areas: grass cutting, weed control, trimming trees and hedges.
• Perform painting tasks: touch-ups and full repaints.
• Clean and maintain public restrooms and common areas.
• Shovel snow and ice; apply melting agents as needed.
• Carry out repairs: roof, plumbing, electrical, and other tasks as directed.
• Replace light bulbs, lenses, ceiling tiles to maintain lighting.
• Assist with seasonal décor and weather-related preparations.
