Job summary

Nurse Next Door San Mateo is hiring Home Care Aides for one-on-one in-home support in Menlo Park. We offer reliable hours, full-time and part-time options, competitive hourly pay with shift differentials, and generous PTO with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide (HHA) program (or equivalent).
• At least 1 year of paid home-health, hospice, or facility experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to update digital care logs.
• CPR certification or willingness to earn within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Personalized Daily Living Assistance including transfers and mobility support.
• Healthy Home Environment: linens, light laundry, and safe living areas.
• Medication reminders and basic wellness checks.
• Mind-Body engagement: read aloud, reminisce, simple chair exercises.
• Detailed reporting: care notes and updates to RN or Care Supervisor.
