Job summary

Caring Companions, LLC in Windsor, CT is seeking Weekend Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate personal care and companionship to clients in a home setting. This role offers weekend hours, a supportive team, development opportunities, and a pathway to advancement with competitive pay of $19–$20 per hour based on experience.

Valid CT CNA or HHA certification preferred; drivers license helpful.

Qualifications

• Requires valid CNA certification in CT or HHA preferred.
• Experience in home care or assisted living is preferred.
• Ability to lift and transfer clients up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance: bathing, dressing, grooming.

Weekend Hours:

8am-11am Saturday and Sunday

$19-$20/hour based off experience.

Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety and comfort.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental well‑being.
• Medication Reminders.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and office staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA certification in the state of Connecticut preferred (or HHA).
• Experience in home care or assisted living environments preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transfer clients safely up to 40lbs.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
• Availability to work weekends and flexible hours.
• Background check and references required.
