Job summary

Charter Oak Home Care in Connecticut is seeking experienced caregivers (PCA, HHA, CNA) to join our team. You will deliver personal care, support daily activities, and help implement care plans for older adults in their homes.

Shifts vary from 4 to 12 hours on Saturdays and Sundays with additional weekday hours; you design a flexible part-time or full-time schedule. We offer pay from $18 to $23 per hour, plus benefits such as a 401K match, paid training, and 24/7 caregiver support.

Qualifications

• Compassion and empathy is a must.
• Alzheimer's or Dementia experience is a plus.
• Ability to use good judgement and remain calm.
• Reliable and on time.
• Proof of eligibility to work in U.S.
• Can pass a background check and provide references.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to dedicated client in their home.
• Help execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans.
• Supply personal companionship, remain actively engaged with each client by providing ongoing social & emotional support.
• Assist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation.
• Keep order, safety and client enjoyment top of mind.
• Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed.
• Administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and report changes in the client’s condition.

We have varying shifts every Saturday and Sunday from 4 hours to 12 hours, Mornings and evenings available. Other weekday hours available as well.

Pay $18-$23/hour

We are seeking experienced caregivers (PCA, HHA, CNA) who are reliable, have a heart for service, and a passion to care for the older adults to join our team. If you are looking for an opportunity to design a flexible schedule, we have several current openings with clients. The hours vary from 4-12 hour shifts on all days of the week and our caregivers can design either a part time or full time schedule.

What You Do

You have the ultimate responsibility to help implement care plans that nurture older adults in mind and body. You will provide personalized care to clients assisting in scheduled activities as well as overall care management. Our hope is that you will treat your clients like family, going above and beyond to enhance their quality of life.
