Job summary

Buff City Soap, based in Missouri, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager at the Chesterfield location to oversee Makery operations and drive sales. This role emphasizes client-centric service, coaching, and maintaining an impeccably clean Makery environment.

The ideal candidate has management or sales experience, strong communication skills, and leadership abilities. The position requires night and weekend availability and a five‑day work week with 30–45 hours depending on status.

Qualifications

• Management and/or sales experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Skilled Trainer, motivator, and leadership qualities desired.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily Makery operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales targets.
• Maintain a professional and clean Makery environment.
• Set clear goals and objectives for team members.
• Provide coaching, training and feedback to improve performance.
• Manage stock of raw materials, finished products and supplies.
• Generate sales reports and assist with inventory and production.
• Assist Store Manager in controlling revenue and expenses.
• Work nights and weekends as required.
• Position is for Chesterfield MO location.
