Job summary

Oregon State University is seeking a student employee for the College of Business at the Student Engagement Makers Space. The role supports the makerspace with routine maintenance, cleaning, training students to use equipment, and supervising equipment usage.

Hours are up to 24 per week at $16.55/hour, with potential evening and weekend shifts. Applicants must be enrolled students and meet academic standing requirements; prior makerspace experience and proficiency with MS Office are a plus.

Job Description

This recruitment will be used to fill 1 part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) student position for the College of Business at Oregon State University (OSU).

The position supports the Student Engagement makerspace, including routine maintenance to all equipment, cleaning duties, training students to use the equipment, and general supervision of equipment use.

Position will involve access to confidential data and information.

Pay rate for this position is $16.55 per hour.

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study

Working Conditions/Schedule

• Work schedule can vary; evening and weekend hours are to be expected.
• Anticipated hours per week: 8-12 hours.
