Job summary

The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is seeking a Multimedia Specialist at the Clark County Library to provide technical and creative support for multimedia and Makerspace services, engaging with customers to inspire hands-on learning.

You will plan and lead programs, assist with equipment and software, manage schedules, and help maintain a safe, welcoming space while supporting volunteers and tracking program growth.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and instructs customers in the use of electronic and multimedia equipment and software.
• Assists with tools, equipment, and other technologies related to multimedia and/or makerspace activities.
• Collects a variety of data.
• Promotes library programs and collections to customers.
• Conducts outreach in the community to raise awareness of library services and programs.
