Job summary

East Lincoln Library, part of Lincoln County, is seeking a Library Assistant - Creative Studio to support community access to library services and maker-space technologies. The role involves assisting patrons, managing checkouts, delivering programs, and helping with 3D printing, laser cutting, and digital arts projects at the East Lincoln Branch Library.

Strong customer service and teamwork are essential. You will collaborate with staff, develop youth programs, and help create displays

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and perform basic math at a level commonly associated with high school or equivalent.
• Experience providing customer service and assisting library patrons.

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons, check materials in/out, issue library cards.
• Assist patrons in locating materials and using library computers.
• Deliver programs and support maker-space activities (3D printing, laser cutting, etc.).
• Plan and present youth programs and weekly story times.
• Participate in outreach and community events promoting library resources.
