Job summary

TIME Manufacturing Company, Inc. is seeking a Make Ready Technician / Upfit QA to perform multi-phase inspections, final adjustments, and detailing on utility truck chassis and mounted equipment.

You will verify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems meet drawings, DOT standards, and customer specs. This hands-on role checks wiring, torque specs, leaks, decals, and cosmetic finishing, and you will document defects before customer sign-off.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in automotive upfitting or mechanical quality control
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb around large utility trucks

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-phase inspections and final adjustments on chassis and upfit.
• Verify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical function per specs.
• Inspect welds, mounts, and torque specs on fasteners.
• Check wiring routing and insulation; adjust hardware and decals.
• Verify fluids and leaks under pressure.
• Document QA results and defects for feedback to production
