Job summary

Mayfair Management Group is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prep rental units between tenants, performing cleaning, basic repairs, and safety checks to meet company standards.

The successful candidate will work on site at multiple properties in Port Arthur, TX, coordinating with property managers and maintenance staff, following safety protocols, and maintaining tools and supplies. Prior maintenance or cleaning experience is preferred, with strong attention to detail and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in property maintenance, cleaning, or related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare rental units between tenants, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Perform minor repairs such as patching holes, painting, replacing fixtures, and fixing appliances.
• Inspect units to ensure they meet quality and safety standards before tenant move-in.
• Coordinate with property managers and maintenance staff to address larger repair needs.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies in good working order.
• Document work completed and report any issues or damages found during make ready process.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies while on the job.
