Job summary

SYNC Residential is seeking an experienced Make Ready Technician to join our service team in Houston. The role requires skills in painting, plumbing, and electrical work, with a schedule Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and on-call rotation every 3 weeks.

As a Make Ready Technician, you will perform maintenance, prepare vacant units for occupancy, and coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to keep common areas and grounds in top condition. A valid driver's license and insurance are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Paint sprayer, plumbing, electrical, and maintenance experience required.
• Apartment Make Ready experience highly preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily groundskeeping throughout the community.
• Complete pre-walks for notice-to-vacate units to plan for make-ready.
• Remove trash from vacant units and complete full make-ready duties.
• Complete and submit checklists for all make readies.
• Update the Make Ready Board with the Maintenance Supervisor daily to ensure status is clearly communicated.
• Track and order supplies needed for upcoming make readies and shop inventory.
• Walk grounds, parking areas, and common spaces to ensure peak presentation and safe condition of equipment.
• Respond to after-hours and emergency work orders as needed.
