Job summary

Hilltop Residential in Katy, TX is seeking a Make Ready Technician for Lakecrest Apartments to inspect vacated units and complete make-readies to Hilltop standards.

You will handle work orders, assist with building maintenance, and ensure units are ready for new residents. A valid driver's license and 1+ year maintenance experience are preferred; EPA certification is a plus and could be supported for advancement.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on general maintenance experience.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies.
• Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation.
• EPA license is a plus; certification may be supported for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make ready checklists.
• Complete make readies equal to Hilltop Residential standards.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance to Hilltop standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Inspect vacant apartments for damage to walls, doors, blinds, lights, and plumbing fixtures.
• Assist with preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.
• Must be able to paint.
• Assist in keeping grounds neat and free of litter.
