Job summary

The NRP Group is seeking a Make Ready Tech to support our Austin community. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping to ensure apartments look pristine and are move-in ready.

Under supervision of the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, you will handle safety checks, refurbishments, and daily curb appeal tasks while coordinating with staff and vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong English verbal and written communication.
• Custodial/housekeeping or apartment experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Safety-conscious with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections and janitorial services as assigned.
• Assist with maintenance of storage area and refurbishing/renovation of apartments per standards.
• Walk the property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartments.
• Notify Community Manager of safety concerns and participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain knowledge of property-specific problems such as asbestos and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all tasks completed.
• Perform other duties as required.
• In Community Manager's absence, oversee maintenance tasks, scheduling staff/vendors and ordering supplies.
• Complete service requests in accordance with company standards.
