Job summary

The NRP Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Evansville community to help keep apartments in pristine condition and ensure excellent curb appeal. You will perform general maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial duties under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

This role requires 3–4 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; CFC Universal Certification preferred
  • CFC Universal Certification must be attained within 90 days of hire
  • 3–4 years of maintenance experience
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial tasks as assigned
  • Assist with storage area and materials management
  • Refurbish and renovate apartments per standards
  • Walk the property daily to maintain curb appeal and quality
  • Notify Manager of safety concerns and participate in safety meetings
  • Understand building issues (e.g., asbestos) and respond appropriately
  • Complete service requests in line with company standards
  • Available for weekend work, on-call duties, and after-hours emergencies
  • May assist at other properties as needed
  • Run errands to support the property as necessary
