Wilhoit Properties, Inc. is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of upkeep tasks across our apartment communities in Atlanta.

The role focuses on maintaining property appearance and operational integrity to ensure residents enjoy a safe, comfortable living environment. You will handle make-ready procedures, routine inspections, handyman tasks, and on-call emergencies as needed, with an emphasis on teamwork and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Property maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge required.
• Electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills essential.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods and be available for on-call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance and integrity of the apartment community.
• Keep environments clean and comfortable for residents and visitors.
• Make-ready tasks: painting, appliances, plumbing, electrical fixtures, repairs, and lighting.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, lighting, plumbing, appliances, and major equipment; repair with PM approval.
• Maintain an organized maintenance shop and inventory of tools and supplies.
• Maintain curb appeal through lawn care.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed.
