A non-profit educational organization based in the U.S. seeks a part-time Local Coordinator to work with exchange students and host families in San Antonio. This role offers supplementary income and a flexible schedule, aiding in the recruitment of volunteer host families and providing support to students throughout their program. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, organized, and have a strong community network.

Qualifications

• Ability to support students and host families during the program.
• Organized and well-networked within the community.
• Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Recruitment skills with the ability to screen potential leads (nice-to-have)

Make A Difference, San Antonio! - Local Coordinator to Exchange Students

Education Travel & Culture (ETC) is a non‑profit 501(c)(3) educational exchange organization recruiting host families across the country for international high‑school exchange students. We are looking for a part‑time, supplemental‑income Local Coordinator to join our team.

Help make a difference in the lives of exchange students! Our non‑profit offers supplemental income on a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with exchange students, host families, and local high schools including monthly oversight of the exchange student
• Receive full training, teaching and ongoing support from the Field Manager
• Recruit volunteer host families for our international high‑school students via reverse networking, job postings, phone calls, and outbound emails
• Be compensated for each host family that you recruit; hours are based on the number of families recruited and students overseen
• Assist and support students and host families throughout the program

Qualifications

• Ability to problem‑solve and support students and host families during the program
• Self‑motivated, organized, and well‑networked within the community
• Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a Background Check
• Recruitment skills with the ability to screen potential leads (nice‑to‑have)

Compensation is dependent upon recruitment efforts and student oversight. This position provides supplemental income only.
