An educational exchange organization in Buffalo, NY, seeks a Local Coordinator to support its mission of connecting international exchange students with loving host families. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling (10–20 hours/month), no prior experience is needed, and provides the chance to learn about new cultures. Responsibilities include overseeing students, recruiting host families, and providing support throughout the program. • Receive full training and ongoing support from the Field Manager.

• Advise and support students and host families during the program.
• Supervise host families and compensate for each recruited.
• Recruit and supervise host families, compensating for each family recruited; hours are based on recruitment and student oversight.

Local Coordinator – Exchange Students (Buffalo, NY)

Education Travel & Culture (ETC) is a non‑profit 501(c)(3) educational exchange organization. We find loving host families across the country for international high‑school exchange students. This part‑time supplemental income Local Coordinator role supports our mission of spreading international goodwill.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with exchange students, host families, and local high schools, including monthly oversight of the exchange student
• Receive full training, teaching, and ongoing support from the Field Manager
• Share the hosting opportunity by connecting in person, via social media, or other means
• Recruit host families through reverse networking, job postings, phone calls, and outbound emails
• Advise and support students and host families during the program
• Recruit and supervise host families, compensating for each family recruited; hours are based on recruitment and student oversight
