What You'll Be Doing
  • Build detailed outage schedules (MS Project), define task sequencing, and identify the critical path to minimize downtime.
  • Identify and finalize all maintenance activities plan (kiln, mills, crushers, preheaters, etc.), ensuring a clear, detailed outage scope with task‑level breakdown.
  • Determine manpower, contractor requirements, tools, and materials; coordinate with plant teams, procurement, and vendors to ensure availability.
  • Develop outage cost estimates, track planned vs. expected expenditure and identify cost optimization opportunities before execution by leveraging data and plant collaboration.
  • Analyze potential risks (equipment delays, resource conflicts, safety concerns) and prepare contingency plans to avoid downtime overruns.
  • Pre‑qualify vendors, align on scope, timelines, safety requirements, and ensure contracts are ready prior to outage start.
  • Act as the central coordination point between plant operations, maintenance, regional teams, and contractors—ensuring alignment before mobilization.
  • Use past outage data and KPIs (duration, cost, productivity) to improve planning accuracy and reduce future outage durations.
  • Drive continuous improvement through post‑outage analysis, reporting, and best practices implementation.
What Are We Looking For
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance and project planning within a heavy manufacturing environment; cement plant experience preferred.
  • Strong capability in outage planning, project management, and maintenance coordination in industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Knowledge of cement manufacturing processes, equipment, and maintenance systems (e.g., CMMS/SAP).
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across diverse teams and locations.
