Job Summary

The Major Market Sales Executive, Virtual identifies potential clients through prospecting activities, consults with the potential clients to identify which Paycor products and services will solve their business challenges, and ultimately sells those solutions to new clients within assigned territories. He or she is responsible for self-generating leads through prospecting, telemarketing, sales database management (CRM), and networking. The Major Market Sales Executive, Virtual is an expert in our sales process and product offering, and is accountable for forecasting their sales on a monthly basis. He or she is a self-starter responsible for achieving assigned monthly and annual sales quotas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Identify potential clients in the higher employee band and more complex end of the midmarket space through prospecting and referrals, leveraging tools and technology.
  2. Consult with potential clients to determine the best solutions to their business challenges and needs.
  3. Present Paycor products and services to potential clients in person and by phone.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources.
  5. Own and accurately maintain monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
  6. Analyze potential clients' practices to identify additional sales opportunities.
  7. Meet or exceed sales activity and target goals.
  8. Assist in onboarding new clients, including paperwork and initial payroll processing.
  9. Work closely with Client Services to ensure client satisfaction.
  10. Record all sales activities and results in SFDC promptly.
  11. Coordinate with Client Services and Implementation teams for new client onboarding.
  12. Complete reports and CRM updates regularly.
  13. Support the development of less experienced Sales Executives as needed.
  14. Demonstrate strong work ethic and attendance.
  15. Maintain ethical business practices.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are indicative of the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  1. 3-6 years of consultative, B2B sales experience with a proven success record.
  2. Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision.
  3. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  4. Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Four-year business degree.

The anticipated base salary range is $75,000–$95,000, with performance-based bonuses or commissions. If your desired salary is outside this range, other suitable positions may be available.
