Job description

The Major Market Sales Executive, Field, identifies potential clients through prospecting activities, consults with them to determine suitable Paycor products and services, and sells these solutions within assigned territories. This role involves self-generating leads via prospecting, telemarketing, CRM management, and networking. The Executive must be an expert in our sales process and product offerings, accountable for monthly sales forecasting, and responsible for achieving set sales quotas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Identify potential clients in the higher employee band and complex midmarket space through prospecting, referrals, and leveraging tools and technology.
  2. Consult with potential clients to find optimal solutions for their business challenges and needs.
  3. Present Paycor products and services to potential clients in person and by phone.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources.
  5. Own and accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales.
  6. Analyze current client practices to identify additional sales opportunities.
  7. Meet or exceed sales activity and target goals.
  8. Assist in converting new clients, including paperwork submission and payroll processing.
  9. Collaborate with Client Services to ensure client satisfaction.
  10. Record all sales activities promptly in SFDC.
  11. Support new client implementation and transition with Client Services and Implementation teams.
  12. Complete reports and CRM updates regularly.
  13. Assist less experienced Sales Executives in development when needed.
  14. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and maintain regular attendance.
  15. Uphold ethical business practices.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

To perform successfully, candidates should meet the following:

  • 3-6 years of consultative, B2B sales success.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment without daily supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Four-year business degree.
