Job summary

Minnesota PBS is seeking a Development Officer for Southeast Minnesota to cultivate relationships with major donors and foundations. Working with the Advancement Team, you will execute annual strategies, manage donor portfolios, and collaborate on grant proposals and gift planning.

The role combines Individual Giving, Institutional Advancement, and data-driven donor management, with a hybrid schedule requiring in-person presence in Austin, MN several days per week and periodic travel to the Twin

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
4–7 years of fundraising experience.
Knowledge of planned giving strategies and tools.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of 50 major donors and prospects ($10,000+) to qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward supporters.
Identify donors’ passions to build relationships and opportunities for support.
Collaborate to build mid-level support ($1,200–$9,999) through acquisitions and upgrades.
Create and present proposals for general operating, endowment, campaign, and planned gifts.
Collaborate to research new major donors and analyze data in the CRM for prioritization.
