Martha O’Bryan Center is seeking a Major Gifts Officer in Nashville to manage a portfolio of high-capacity donors and prospects, developing personalized engagement plans and partnering with leadership to secure philanthropy that advances the center’s mission.

The role emphasizes cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship, with a focus on meeting revenue goals, donor retention, and coordinated campaigns. Evening/weekend events and local travel may be required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, or a related field.
• Significant experience in fundraising, relationship management, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated success in major gift cultivation and solicitation.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge or a comparable donor database/CRM required (1+ years preferred).

• Manages and grows a portfolio of major donor prospects, developing and executing cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
• Prepares proposals, gift opportunities, and briefing materials, and partners with leadership on top-tier donor relationships.
• Builds and tracks a planned giving pipeline while maintaining donor records and forecasting and revenue reporting.
• Meets annual major gift revenue goals and maintains active portfolio movement with donor visits, calls, and proposals.
• Assists with special fundraising campaigns and appeals as needed.
