The College is seeking a Major Gifts Officer to advance fundraising by cultivating alumni, donors, and community partners in Charleston, SC. You will identify major gift prospects, develop stewardship strategies, and support scholarship initiatives to advance philanthropic support for the College and the TTC Foundation.

Key responsibilities include collaboration with the development team, crafting proposals, and managing donor communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in alumni development, fundraising, prospect research, or business development.
• Experience cultivating and maintaining donor relationships with alumni, community partners, and external funding entities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of planned giving is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with the Director of Development to advance the major gifts program and scholarships.
• Identify, research, qualify, and cultivate prospective major gift donors.
• Develop cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for donors and sponsors.
• Build relationships with alumni, businesses, and community partners to secure major gifts.
• Develop proposals that align donor interests with college priorities.
• Coordinate sponsorship development and support fundraising campaigns and events.
• Utilize Raiser's Edge to document donor activities and track engagement.
• Support donor stewardship through acknowledgments, reports, and recognition activities.
• Assist with volunteer engagement and fundraising events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
