Newport Mental Health is seeking a Major Gifts Officer to lead year-round cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for a portfolio of donors giving $1,000 or more annually. This role also oversees the agency’s 100 Women initiative, coordinating donor events and stewardship opportunities.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years in major gifts, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage relationships across the organization with tact and integrity.

This position is responsible for the year-round cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategy to engage 100 current donors who give $1,000 or more annually, and continuing to build the portfolio to 130 donors. This position will also be primarily responsible for the agency’s 100 Women initiative. This initiative gathers donors 3 or 4 times a year for light educational program and provides an opportunity for stewardship and cultivation of existing major donors as well as evaluation of prospective major donors.
