Job summary

Covenant House New Jersey is seeking a Donor Relations Manager to solicit gifts from a qualified donor pipeline, build relationships, and expand major gifts within New Jersey. The role emphasizes strategic use of events, programs, and Salesforce to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors toward increasing giving levels.

You will manage a small portfolio, collaborate with the Development Leadership Team, and travel regularly within New Jersey.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in fundraising or related frontline relationship-building.
• Experience in major gifts and five-figure solicitations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; travel within NJ.

Responsibilities

• Solicit gifts from qualified donors and build new donor relationships.
• Manage donor lifecycle including cultivation, visits, and stewardship.
• Maintain Salesforce records and moves management.
• Collaborate with Development Leadership and program staff.
• Build a $750K+ portfolio over 18 months.
