Job summary

Circle of Care is seeking a Development Manager to lead donor cultivation and major gifts initiatives in Connecticut. You will collaborate with the Executive Directors and Development team to grow philanthropic support for families facing childhood cancer.

The role requires 5+ years in nonprofit fundraising, strong donor relationship skills, and experience with CRMs and reporting. Office-based in Wilton, CT with occasional events and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of nonprofit fundraising or development experience.
• Experience managing donor relationships and contributing to fundraising growth.
• Experience with donor databases/CRMs, reporting, and constituent management.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for donor community and major donors.
• Develop and execute tailored solicitation, cultivation, stewardship, and renewal strategies.
• Transition existing major donor relationships with leadership.
• Plan donor cultivation, recognition, and stewardship for events and programs.
• Track, analyze, and report fundraising activity and pipeline performance.
