The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a Major Gift Officer to engage the community in youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The role focuses on major gifts, donor relations, and regional collaboration across Philadelphia branches.

What is needed for this job as our Major Gift Officer:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
3+ years of professional experience with a background in major gift fundraising in the YMCA or another not-for-profit organization.
Knowledgeable in annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, leading teams, and donor relations
Technical proficiency in donor research and CRM platform
The responsibilities we will trust you with as our Major Gift Officer:
Helping to connect members to the philanthropic goals of Greater Philadelphia YMCA
Focus on nurturing gifts of more than $1,000
Maintaining an active presence in our region of focus with the goal of identifying new, or growing current, major gift prospects
Prioritizing donor touches and sound stewardship for all current and potential prospects
Supporting regional operations teams in major gift fundraising and pipeline cultivation, as well as regional board recruiting as needed
Collaborating with the Marketing Department to design and execute internal and external departmental communications
Ensuring compliance with internal and legal policies and procedures
Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
