Job summary

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas is seeking a Major Gift Officer to implement strategies to secure major gifts from donors. You will manage a portfolio of major gift prospects, cultivate relationships through personalized communications and engagement events, and close major gifts in collaboration with the Development team.

This exempt, full-time role requires three or more years in fundraising, a proven track record of securing major gifts, and strong donor stewardship

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Three or more years of fundraising experience.
• Proven track record securing and stewarding major gifts.
• Knowledge of fundraising principles and donor stewardship.
• Experience with CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Qualify major gift prospects and build a portfolio of donors.
• Cultivate and steward relationships through personalized communications and events.
• Close major gifts in alignment with fundraising goals.
• Collaborate with the Development team to ensure program alignment.
• Maintain donor records in the CRM and prepare revenue projections.
