Job summary

Logitech is seeking a Public Sector Major Accounts Manager to lead growth in the North region, covering State & Local Government, Education, and nonprofit segments. You will engage top decision-makers, define solutions, and drive revenue with cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Alliances, Channels, and Marketing.

Qualifications

  • Proven relevant sales experience in the public sector with an assigned sales quota.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.
  • Experience in selling Unified Communications (UC) and a strong understanding of cloud solutions.
  • Previous experience building strategic public sector account plans.
  • Sales experience in Video Collaboration is preferred.
  • Proficiency in social media such as LinkedIn, Sales Navigator.
  • Ongoing updates and reporting rigor via SFDC (salesforce.com) to manage, update and ensure pipeline sufficiency.
  • Able to do hands‑on solutions demos in‑person with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Strongly strive to win deals, RFPs and standards while delivering quarterly revenue and forecast.
  • Create compelling narratives using technology for presentations.
  • Manage the sales cycle including client presentations and demos.
  • Partner with channel partners to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Provide customer insights to product management based on market trends.

The Team and Role

Logitech’s For Business sales team is scaling rapidly to support and sustain this growth.

We are looking for a Public Sector Major Account Manager , to join our Public Sector East region. Based in Ohio or Pennsylvania , New Jersey, this role supports Major accounts in the northern part of our Region.

In this role you will drive Logitech in namely State & Local Government, Education and nonprofit accounts. You will achieve this through heavy influence and direct engagement with key decision-makers and influencers at various levels within the organization. Your role is to determine or define clear solutions that meet the needs of your partners, resulting in outcomes that exceed business expectations. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sales Engineer, Alliances, Channels, Distribution, and Marketing functions. Candidates must have experience selling into the public vertical.

You are the type of person who exceeds sales quotas by enhancing and up-leveling relationships. You achieve this by focusing on prospecting new customer logos and up- or cross-selling to existing customers; you also own high-touch engagement with your account plan.

This role requires travel for internal meetings, industry conferences (as required/needed), and on-site customer visits to strengthen partnerships (when required)

  • Maintain an accurate project pipeline / pipeline sufficiency and tracking of this pipeline through tools and data reporting.
  • Proficient in CRM Tools (Salesforce).
  • Focus on prospecting new accounts and developing top SLED accounts within your territory and vertical focus.
  • Strong desire to win deals, RFPs and Standards and even take on tough accounts while delivering quarterly revenue commitment and strong forecast.
  • Maintain an accurate project pipeline as well as pipeline sufficiency to meet and exceed your quota.
  • Ability to create strong stories on own and through the use of innovative technologies (such as AI) for presentation purposes.
  • Manage the sales cycle which includes the creation of client presentations and demos.
  • Partner with the channel partners including System Integrators and VARs to fulfill customers’ requirements.
  • Listen, aggregate feedback and provide customer insights relative to market trends and competitive landscape back to the product management team.
  • Streamline feedback from the team toward selling and operational efficiencies as the business grows.
  • Work with cross-functional departments including CSM, SE and HQ resources to deliver elite customer experience.

Compensation

This position offers an On-Target earnings ( OTE) typically between $ 104,500 and $ 151,000, depending on location and experience.
