Ocean Key Resort and Spa in downtown Key West, FL seeks a dedicated Maitre D' / Sommelier to lead guest experiences with personalized service, table management, and expert wine knowledge. You will welcome guests, manage reservations, and elevate the dining room atmosphere.

The role requires 3–5 years in upscale dining, strong wine and spirits knowledge, and a sommelier certification (Level 1/2 or WSET). Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential; join a team that values

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of upscale dining experience.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and food pairings.
• Certified Sommelier designation preferred or WSET Level 1 or higher.
• Exceptional guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, manage reservations and seating.
• Provide wine recommendations and service, and maintain the wine list.
• Open and close the restaurant 5 nights per week.
• Maintain wine storage and inventory; train service staff.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and cost controls.
• Collaborate with management to create memorable dining experiences.
