Job summary

Carmine’s and Virgil’s Real BBQ in Times Square is seeking a warm, energetic Maitre’d to lead the front desk team and ensure an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure.

The ideal candidate has Maitre’d or lead-host experience in a busy venue, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently. Evening and weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Maitre'd or Lead Host/Hostess in a fast-paced high-volume restaurant environment.
• Excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Fluent in English and flexible to work various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and manage reservations.
• Coordinate seating and waitlist with management for smooth service.
• Operate OpenTable and RESY systems accurately.
• Lead and support the front desk team and act as Brand Ambassador.
