Directs diners to tables or bar, provides menus, answers questions on chef’s specials.
Responds to guest requests, notes allergies, coordinates with kitchen.
Greets takeout customers and coordinates with delivery services.
Develops a dynamic wine program for the restaurant.
Oversees wine ordering, receiving, inventory, and selling across departments.
Assists guests and team with wine pairings and service during dinner.
Develops training for FOH team on service, wine tasting, and wine service.
Guides opening/closing with chef and back-of-house manager; helps clear/set tables.
