COUNTY OF LEHIGH is seeking a Maintenance worker to perform routine repairs and operate light equipment across county facilities. The role includes assisting experienced trades personnel, transporting tools, and conducting basic testing of machinery and systems.

The position requires physical work, basic carpentry and concrete tasks, and record-keeping of activities and materials used. A background check may be required; salary is listed per hour.

Competenze

• Education equivalent to completion of the tenth grade.
• 6–12 months experience in equipment or facility maintenance or repair work.
• Or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Prunes, sprays, feeds and fertilizes, stakes, and otherwise cares for trees and shrubs in park areas.
• Rough finishes concrete and performs pointing tasks.
• Performs other work as assigned.

Qualifications

• To perform this job successfully, the individual in this position must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills and ability required.

Education/Experience

• Education equivalent to completion of the tenth school grade.
• Six to twelve months experience in equipment or facility maintenance or repair work.
• Or any equivalent combination of training and experience which has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities cited above.

A criminal background check may be required.

Salary: $20.35 - $20.35 per hour
