Morgan Advanced Materials is seeking a Maintenance Worker in New Bedford, MA to support daily facilities maintenance and assist with equipment setup. The role involves moving items, preparing spaces for new equipment, and performing minor repairs in a manufacturing facility.

The Maintenance Worker supports the Maintenance Department with day-to-day manual labor and facilities maintenance. This role will assist with moving lockers, furniture, materials, and equipment, while helping prepare work areas for new equipment coming into the facility.
Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements: Skills are required to perform multiple tasks with a need to occasionally upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.
Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: operating equipment used in skilled trades, power and hand tools, etc.; adhering to safety practices; handling hazardous materials; and planning and managing projects.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
This position requires use of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
