Job summary

Sage Glendale Senior Living, part of Agemark Senior Living, is seeking a hands-on Part-Time Maintenance Worker to help create a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff. The role covers routine and preventative maintenance, basic plumbing/electrical/HVAC support, and apartment turnovers.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance, repair, or handyman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle routine maintenance requests and preventative tasks.
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general building upkeep.
• Prepare and turnover resident apartments to be clean, safe, and ready for new residents.
• Assist with safety inspections and address potential hazards.
• Coordinate with contractors or outside service providers when needed.
• Provide friendly, dependable support to residents and team members.

In this role, you’ll help create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and team members.

What You’ll Do

• Keep Things Running Smoothly: Complete routine maintenance requests, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the community.
• Put Your Skills to Work: Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other general building maintenance needs.
• Prepare Resident Apartments: Help with apartment turnovers and ensure spaces are clean, safe, and ready for new residents.
• Support a Safe Community: Assist with inspections, identify potential safety concerns, and follow building and safety requirements.
• Work with Vendors: Coordinate with contractors and outside service providers when needed.
• Be a Helping Hand: Provide friendly, dependable support to residents and team members throughout the community.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous maintenance, repair, or general handyman experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general building maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working around seniors.
• Flexibility to assist with occasional weekend or evening needs.
