Job summary

Agemark Senior Living invites applications for a hands-on, part-time Maintenance Worker at Sage Glendale Senior Living in Glendale, CA. You’ll maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff, handling routine repairs and upkeep to keep the community running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have maintenance or handyman experience, basic skills in plumbing/electrical/HVAC, and the ability to work independently while being friendly with seniors; occasional weekend/evening

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, repair, or handyman experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general building maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working around seniors.
• Flexibility to assist with occasional weekend or evening needs.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine maintenance requests, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the community.
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other general building maintenance needs.
• Prepare resident apartments by turnovers and ensuring spaces are clean, safe, and ready for new residents.
• Assist with inspections, identify safety concerns, and follow building/safety requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and outside service providers as needed.
• Provide friendly, dependable support to residents and team members throughout the community.

What You’ll Do

• Keep Things Running Smoothly: Complete routine maintenance requests, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the community.
