The Park Maintenance Worker supports the daily operations and upkeep of parks, open spaces, trails, and recreational facilities. This position involves manual and semi-skilled tasks in landscaping, grounds maintenance, facility repairs, and preparation of recreational areas. The role demands safe operation of equipment, effective teamwork, and responsiveness to public needs.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
One year work experience in park maintenance, facilities, or construction.
One year manual labor experience.
Two years experience using landscaping equipment.
One year experience in municipal or commercial snow removal.
Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License, or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
Tanker endorsement, or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
Satisfactory driving record in compliance with Federal DOT regulations.
Availability for after-hours, weekend, and emergency callouts.
