Zimmerman is now hiring for a Maintenance Technician I.

The Tech I position will work in the Streets, Parks, Water, and Sewer Departments under the supervision of the Public Works Director and the Streets and Utilities Supervisor. Responsibilities include:

• Operation and maintenance of light to medium equipment
• Repair, maintenance, and plowing of city streets, sidewalks, and trails
• Monitoring and maintenance of water and sewer systems
• Maintenance and repair of city buildings, parks, and properties

This role requires responding to emergencies after hours and participating in rotating on-call duties during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates should have:

• High school diploma or GED
• A Class A driver's license
• Experience in mechanical, maintenance, or skilled trades work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
