UT Parking and Transportation Services is responsible for the management of over 17,000 parking spaces on campus, including 12 parking garages and more than 50 surface parking lots. Our operations include the distribution and regulation of daily, permitted, and event parking, as well as the maintenance of parking lots and garages. We also provide assistance to those parked on or traveling through campus. This assistance includes jump‑starts and opening vehicles for those locked out.

To provide general campus wide maintenance and janitorial/cleaning functions for the department of Parking and Transportation Services without necessity for constant instruction and supervision. Work will include surface parking lots, campus streets, and university garages. Position may be required to work holiday, weekend, overtime or comp time as necessary.
High school graduation or GED. One year of experience as a laborer. Must be willing and able to carry 60 lbs., walk stairs in garage repeatedly over an 8-hour shift. Must have professional demeanor, show attention to detail, have reliable transportation, and display punctual, dependable attendance.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
This job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three-year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident. Employees who are required to have a CDL are subject to drug and alcohol testing (pre‑employment, post‑accident, reasonable suspicion, random, return‑to‑duty, and follow‑up drug and alcohol testing).
