Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor, the incumbent responds to all General Maintenance service calls.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

May include but are not limited to :

• Adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
• Respond to maintenance service calls promptly.
• Complete maintenance request forms after task completion and submit to the Maintenance Shift Supervisor.
• Perform general repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other guest and facilities work requests.
• Maintain technical logs and record relevant data as appropriate.
• Follow Seminole Classic Casino policies, procedures, and schedules to minimize operational interruptions and prioritize projects.
• Promote positive public and employee relations at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within your area of responsibility.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
• Repair, replace, or adjust defective parts; install functional and structural parts; lubricate and clean parts.
• Maintain air conditioning units through routine maintenance of filters, drain lines, etc., to ensure guest and employee comfort.
• Set up and operate tools and equipment to fabricate or repair parts.
• Maintain proper equipment inventories in shop areas.
• Assemble and install furniture, racks, shelving, etc.; inspect used parts for dimensional compliance.
• Inspect electrical outlets and wiring, perform repairs or replacements to ensure safety; replace lights inside and outside the building as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, mechanical, heating, cooling, or ventilation systems as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certificate, plus 1-3 years’ experience in commercial/industrial plumbing or equivalent education/experience.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and close vision.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, plans, diagrams, and drawings.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

• Flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms; lift 50-100 lbs.; work in high or precarious places; work near fiberglass insulation, under sinks, and in cabinets.
