Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities. This full-time position requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed and materials used.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of facilities for events and activities.
• Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to support facility operations and improvements.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance worker or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair procedures.
• Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license required.
