Job summary

Union Wireless is seeking a Maintenance Worker General to join our on-site team in Mountain View, Wyoming. You will help maintain and improve our buildings, equipment, and grounds while collaborating with experienced maintenance professionals.

You will perform general maintenance, repair projects, and semi-skilled tasks across carpentry, electrical, painting, masonry and plumbing, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in maintenance and construction trades.
• Experience across carpentry, electrical, painting, masonry and plumbing is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Proficient in estimating time, materials and resources for projects.
• Safety-minded with ability to follow regulations and procedures.
• Experience performing maintenance across multiple trades is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general maintenance, construction and repair projects.
• Perform semi-skilled work across multiple trades (carpentry, electrical, painting, masonry, plumbing).
• Clean drains and perform basic plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Install glass in windows, doors and partitions.
• Replace damaged ceiling tiles, floor tiles and wall coverings.
• Assist with generator setup and related maintenance tasks.
• Operate equipment including trucks and backhoes as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe workshop and work area.
• Adhere to safety regulations and workplace standards.
• Perform other duties to support facility operations.

In this role, you'll help maintain and improve our buildings, equipment, and grounds while working alongside experienced maintenance professionals. What You’ll Do

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Superintendent or designated supervisor, you will provide support in the construction, maintenance, repair and upkeep of facilities and equipment. Responsibilities include:

• Assist with general maintenance, construction, and repair projects.
• Perform semi-skilled work across multiple trades, including carpentry, electrical, painting, masonry, plumbing, and related maintenance functions.
• Clean drains and perform basic plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Install glass in windows, doors, and partitions.
• Replace damaged ceiling tiles, floor tiles, and wall coverings.
• Assist with generator setup and related maintenance tasks.
• Install and repair fixtures such as:
  • Window shades and blinds
  • Curtain rods
  • Wall fans
  • Door locks and hardware
• Operate equipment, including trucks and backhoes, as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop and work area.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local safety regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support facility operations.

• Ability to safely operate maintenance vehicles and equipment.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
